PU promoting fine art discipline: Rs 1.2 mln for PUCAD Research Centre
LAHORE (APP): Punjab University College of Art & Design (PUCAD) will play an important role in the field of fine art and prepare students of national and international caliber who will earn fame for PU as well as Pakistan. PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran expressed these views in meeting with a delegation of PUCAD faculty members and PhD scholars. PUCAD Research Centre Director Prof Dr Shahida Manzoor, Dr Shoukat Mehmood,Mrs Kehkashan Jafri, Ahmad Bilal and a number of PhD scholars were present on the occasion. Dr Shahida Manzoor and PhD students presented their creative work on the occasion to VC which he praised and appreciated their skills. Research Centre Director Dr Shahida and students thanked VC Dr Mujahid Kamran on announcing a grant of Rs 1.2 million for the college research activities, purchase of books and to meet other needs.
