Punjab University (PU) IER organises farewell dinner for retiring professor

Lahore: The Punjab University (PU) Institute of Education and Research (IER) organised a farewell ceremony for its retiring faculty member, Professor Ali Ahmed Chaudhry, on Wednesday.

Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Mujahid Kamran highly commended Professor Chaudhry for his services, saying that such great people had, with their knowledge and actions, created an environment of harmony and unity.

Earlier, Education University VC and former director IER Professor Dr Munawar Sultana Mirza, Faculty of Education Dean Professor Dr Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal, IER Director Professor Dr Mumtaz and other faculty member also appreciated the services and dedication of the retiring professor. Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan and a large number of former teachers was also present on the occasion.

Old Campus visit: Separately, the VC also visited the old campus and met with the faculty members of the PU College of Information Technology (PUCIT).

PUCIT Principal Dr Mansoor Sarwar was also present on the occasion. Later, the VC visited College of Art and Design the Habib Bank at the old campus. Daily Times
