Karachi: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Tariq Majid has said thatlandmark achievements in military profession bring with them heavy responsibilities and challenges of leadership, command and resource management, both during peace and war.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Tariq Majid was expressing his views while addressing the convocation ceremony of 22nd Air War Course at Air War College (AWC), Karachi on Saturday.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Tariq Majid reiterated that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has a proud history of professionalism and enviable sterling achievements.

Paying tribute to Pakistan Air Force and its training institutions Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Tariq Majid said, Given its pivotal role in wars and very significant contributions now being made in the counter insurgency campaign in the tribal areas, Pakistan Air Force has earned recognition for its exceptional performance both nationally and internationally.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Tariq Majid congratulated the graduates, including those from fraternal countries, Pakistan Army and Navy on successful completion of the course. Speaking at the occasion, he also advised them to stay apace with contemporary geo-political and strategic changes, rapid advancements in aviation technology, employment concepts and latest trends in strategies.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Tariq Majid said that this would ensure that strenuous standards of a modernised air force are achieved by acquiring mastery in its application and management.
