F.P.Report PESHAWAR: The Senior Vice President of Awami National Party and former provincial minister health Baz Muhammad Khan Khattak has said that the decision of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council to recognize three more medical colleges in NWFP, including the Jinnah Medical College, Warsak Road, Peshawar would prove a milestone in the medical history of NWFP. He said in the new recognized medical colleges more than 150 frustrated students would be given admission. Congratulating the founder chairman of the Jinnah Medical College Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishaq, Baz Muhammad Khan Khattak said the Jinnah Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS) was a medical institute of standard and now it would be a good addition in the recognized medical colleges for training students for MBBS degree. He expressed gratitude to the PM&DC and NWFP health high ups for taking such constructive steps for the larger interest of FSc students. He said the JMC would maintain its previous standard and its highly qualified and experienced teaching staff would produce qualified doctors equipped fully with the knowledge of medical science.
