People's Students Federation (PSF) General secretary of PU murdered in Lahore
Lahore: The general secretary of the Punjab University (PU) People's Students Federation (PSF) was killed in the Hanjarwal police precincts late on Monday. The deceased, identified as Usama Ilyas, a second-year student, was allegedly murdered by PSF President Razi Shah Zaidi due to unknown reasons. It was learnt that the victim was a close associate of Zaidi, who used to visit Ilyas' house often. Ilays' sister said she and her brother were at home when Zaidi, along with two other persons, arrived at their house. She said she heard her brother exchange harsh words with the men, followed by a gunshot, adding she found Ilyas lying in a pool of blood when she went to check. Daily Times
