Prof Idrees takes over as University of Peshawar VC
PESHAWAR:13 December:Professor Dr Muhammad Idrees on Saturday assumed charge as the 24th vice-chancellor of the University of Peshawar.
A formal assumption of charge ceremony was held in the administration block of the varsity where he was welcomed by Pro-Vice-Chancellor Profesor Dr Muhammad Abid, Registrar Professor Dr Yorid Ahsan Zia, and other staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Idrees said that he was humbled to have been selected as the vice-chancellor of the historic university.Published in The Express Tribune, December 13th, 2020.
