Mirpurkhas, Sept 11: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mirpurkhas, announced the result of Higher Secondary School part-II (class-XII) annual examination of humanities, commerce and science groups on Wednesday.

According to result of arts group, Nimra Aslam daughter of Mohammad Aslam Arain, seat no 41926 and Shahida Parveen daughter of Abdul Rasheed Arain, seat no 41924 of Government Higher Secondary School Deh 22, Jamrao, district Sanghar secured first and second positions by obtaining 815 and 813 marks respectively.

Reema Ikram daughter of Abdul Ikram Bhatti, seat no 37229 of Government Ibn-e-Rushed Girls College Mirpurkhas bagged third position by obtaining 793 marks.

In commerce group, Shoaib Mohammad son of Kauser Abbas Raja, seat no 44201 of Government Pir Sibghatullah Shah Shaheed Boys College Sanghar got first position by obtaining 877 marks, Rehana Saleem daughter of Saleem Ahmed, seat no 44425 of Government Girls College Tando Adam secured second position by obtaining 814 marks while Mehak daughter of Najamuddin Mari Baloch, seat no 44433 of Government Girls College Tando Adam bagged third position by getting 800 marks.

In Arts group, a total number of 2778 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 11 candidates in grade-A, 414 in grade-B, 1133 in grade-C, 391 in grade-D and only two in grade-E, were declared pass.

In commerce group, 298 candidates appeared in the examination out of which only one candidate in grade A-1, 7 in grade-A, 29 in grade-B, 135 in grade-C and 66 in grade-D were declared pass.

In oriental group, 31 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 3 candidates in grade-B, 6 in grade-C, 4 in grade-D were declared pass.

In general science group, 4 candidates appeared in the examination out of which one candidate in grade A while 1 in grade-D were declared pass. Dawn
