Lahore :October 08: ON the direction of IG Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema, National Highways and Motorways Police, the N-5 Central Okara Sector observed seven-day special briefing campaign and imparted road safety education to 10,860 motorists about seat belt, safety helmet and over-speeding violations. SSP Mirza Faran Baig disclosed this while briefing to DIG Central Mirza Shakil Ahmad about the ongoing campaign at zonal office, Lahore. Mirza Faran Baig said Motorway Police briefed motorcyclists about safety helmet and other violations on national highways. He said fine has also been imposed on 1,506 motorists for non-wearing of seat belt besides 3,500 education and 3,611 briefings.The news.
