Punjab University congrats new office-bearers of Education Reporters associations

LAHORE (Saturday, January 03): Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan and Public Relations Officer Shabbir Sarwar have congratulated the newly-elected members of the Lahore Educations Reporters Association (LERA) and the Education Welfare Association (Founder Group).

In a message they congratulated the newly-elected President of LERA Mansoor Malik (Dawn), Vice-President Saqib Warraich (Din), General Secretary Khalid Khatak (The News), Secretary Information Abdul Ghafoor Marth (Jinnah), Treasurer Raheel Sayed (Aajkal) and Girls wing In-charge Huma Sadaf (PTV).

They also congratulated the newly elected Life-time Chairman of Education Welfare Association (Founder Group) Hamid Javed (Jang), President Yousaf Abbassi (Express), General Secretary Nadeem Basra (Nawa-e-Waqt), Senior Vice-President Awais Qureshi (Waqt News Channel), Co-ordinator Moeen (Geo) and Secretary Information Irfan-ul-Haq (Daily Tijarat).
They said that education plays key role in the development of a country and education reporter are very important in this regard. They said that positive journalism strengthen the institutes. They hoped that the newly-elected members will work hard to promote education and research culture not only in Lahore but also in the whole country.
