Staff and students of The University of Faisalabad (TUF) and University Medical & Dental College (UMD&C) Faisalabad have launched a cash donation and relief goods collection campaign for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Swat, Dir and Buner districts who have been forced to leave their homes due to ongoing operations in those areas.
The relief campaign has been planned exclusively by the students on self help basis in three stages. During the first phase the efforts are being confined to the staff, students and volunteers of Saleem Campus of the University on Sargodha Road and in the next phase it would be extended to the Madina Teaching Hospital staff and paramedics and finally to the boys at Amin Campus located in West Canal Road area. The campaign has generated overwhelming response.
