Advisor of Chief Minister on Education visit to a model school in SITE Town karachi

Karachi:City Nazim Mustafa Kamal has made Karachi an international city by initiating a fast paced development process, including in the health and education sectors, Advisor to the Sindh Chief Minister on Health and Education Sharmila Farooqui said, during a visit to a model school in SITE Town.

Farooqui said that by taking the private sector on board in educational affairs, Kamal has done praiseworthy work which could bring about radical changes in society, especially in the education sector. She said that on the lines of CMIS, a comprehensive system should be formed under the public-private partnership policy of the city government to ensure the involvement of the private sector in the health and education sectors.

She also stressed the need for better and complete coordination and mutual understanding between the city government and the Sindh education department. She also praised the combined project of the city government, Hino Pak and CMIS and said that she felt much pleasure visiting the school which has been converted into a standard educational center.

CMIS Chairperson Farhana Iqbal said that the FPCCI is working with the CDGK in the education and health sector under public-private partnership which has given positive and encouraging results.

Hino-Pak Representative Clerita said that Hino-Pak will provide technical training facilities in the field of motor mechanics to students of 8th to 10th class. Selected students will also get jobs in the Hino-Pak factory.
