AKU to create awareness on diarrhoea
Karachi: 19 August: Aga Khan University’s (AKU) Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health is organising an event to launch ‘Diarrhoea and Pneumonia: Global Action Plan and Implications for Pakistan’
on August 22.
The event is part of the global action plan for the prevention and control of pneumonia and diarrhoea launched by UNICEF and WHO on April 12 this year.
This country-specific launch will focus on improved coordination between existing programmes and a wide range of other factors, including increased community involvement, guidance for the government and its partners to plan integrated approaches for the prevention and control of pneumonia and diarrhoea in Pakistan. ppi.Daily Times.
