Punjab University Five PhDs Awarded
Lahore : July 30: Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to different scholars after the completion of their research work.
According to a press release issued on Monday, the scholars included Adil Jamal s/o Amjad Pervaiz in the subject of Molecular Biology after the approval of his thesis titled “Gene Expression Profiling in Gossypium Arboreum Root Under Drought Stress”, Muhammad Israr s/o Muhammad Bahadar in the subject of Molecular Biology after the approval of his thesis titled “Genetic Characterisation of ChrX miniSTRs in Pakistani Population’’, Basharat Ali s/o Muhammad Ramzan in the subject of Biological Sciences after the approval of his thesis titled “Epidemiology and Molecular Characterisation of Bovine and Human Tuberculosis in Human Rural Population of Punjab Pakistan”, Kamran Shehzad s/o Sana Ullah in the subject of Molecular Biology after the approval of his thesis titled “Transformation of Fiber Related Genes in Cotton (Gossypium Hirsutum)” and Javed Younes s/o Mehdi Khan in the subject of Urdu after the approval of his thesis titled “The Letter Writing of Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali, Research and Editing”.
Admission schedule: Punjab University Examination Department has issued a schedule of admission fee and form for the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D), Final Professional Annual Examination 2013.
According to a press release issued on Monday, date of submission of admission form and fee for the said exam is 09-09-2013 with single fee while form can be submitted with double fee till 12-09-2013. Detailed schedule is also available on PU website www.pu.edu.pk.The news.
