Rule of law, Students Role Vital to Progress
Lahore:July 09:Uniform education system and rule of law is crucial for economic development of Pakistan while the young generation could become a source of power and ignoring them will be destructive.
These views were expressed by the students of different universities in Jang Economic Session on ‘Which economic system is required by young generation’, here on Monday. The panellists were Farzoq Ch, Muhammad Usman, Bilal Ahmed and Hafiz Muhammad Tauseef while hosted by Sikandar Hameed Lodhi.
Farzoq Ch said around 50 million youth between the age of 15 and 27 years could become a source of power provided they are directed properly. He suggested the youth to focus on their abilities as the government was already dependent on loans. He said Pakistani youngsters are very talented and need guidance so that they can play their role in development of economic system. Muhammad Usman said the economic betterment was impossible without the improvement of education system. He said costly education has bleak chances of better education for poor students. He said gap between the poor and the rich has widened due to unequal education system. He said the golden Islamic Education should be evolved so that injustice from the society could be removed.
Bilal Ahmed said concept of Pakistani students was not clear due to incompetent education system in which students focus on getting grades. He said concept of students of developed nations.
Hafiz Muhammad Tauseef said Pakistan’s economic system should be self-dependent and every individual should take its responsibilities. He said if everyone corrects self, pays taxes and sharpen abilities the country can come back on track. The news.
