JOIN PAKISTAN ARMY AS WOMEN COMMISSIONED OFFICERS (DSSC) Women Commissioned Officers, RemountVeterinary & Farms Corps and Psychologist

1.         Applications are invited of female candidates in the fields of Instructional/Staff Appointments
            for Grant of Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) in the Army. The candidates must be
            qualified from reputed local/foreign universities/institutions recognized by PEC/HEC and
            must fulfill the  following criteria and eligibility conditions:-

a.    Direct Short Service Commission in Corps of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers as Captain    BE Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Hardware Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering (with min 2.5 CGPA or 60% marks in annual system)

b.    Direct Short Service Commission in Corps of Signal as Captain    a. MS in Telecommunication Engineering b. MS Software Engineering/Information Security

c. MBA (IT) with BE Computer Science/ Telecommunication Engineering/ Software Engineering. from any HEC /PEC recognized or a foreign university (minimum 1st Division /CGPA 3.0 through out the career)

c.    Direct Short Service Commission as Information & Computer Technology Officers (ICTO)    a. BE Software Engineering

b. BSC (Hons) / BIT (Hons) with specialization in Software Engineering or an equivalent/higher qualification in Computer Science discipline from PEC/HEC ( as applicable) from reconnised institution of Pakistan or abroad with CGPA 2.5/62.5 % and above.

1. Psychologist - M.A/M.Sc Psychology.
2.Clinical Psychologist MA/M.Sc Psychology
Having Advance Diploma in Clinical Psychology (minimum 2nd Division)

M.Phil/P.hd will be given preference. M.Phil/P.hd will be given preference

   28 years as on 19 Mar 2010 (Relaxable in individual cases having higher qualification and experience).
g.    Direct Short Service Commission in Remount Veterinary and Farms Corps (Male)    DVM or equivalent degree from Pakistan, UK or USA. Registered with PVMC.

   a. Serving VASs of RV&FC 21-35 years as on 20 Mar 2010.

b. Civilians 21 - 28 years as on 20 Mar 2010.
h.    Direct Short Service Commission in Ordnance Corps as Captain (Female)    MSc 1st Division in Energetic / Material Chemistry. M.Phill/Ph.D will be given preference.

2. MARITAL STATUS.    Unmarried    
3. HEIGHT:-    (i)Female Candidates    5"Feet & 2 inches.
(i)Male Candidates    5"Feet & 4 inches.
Vision:-    (i)Distance Vision    With glasses- 6/9.6/12
(i)Near Vision    J2, J7 or J8, N12 with or without glasses
4.NATIONALITY
   a. Female citizens of Pakistan / Azad Kashmir Nationals and state subject of Class-I

   b.Pakistani candidates having dual nationality will initiatethe process for renunciation sof their foreign nationality and will give an undertaking before joining Army that they will complete the procedure for renunciation of their foreign nationality before completion of their training.

   c.Those failing to renounce their foreign nationality or those who do not complete the procedure will not be granted commission. Additionally, they will be liable to pay the training charges / bond money and will be released from the Army.
5.INELIGIBLITY Following are Ineligible to Apply:-
   a.Already screened out or rejected twice by Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB)/ General Headquarters (GHQ) /Naval Headquarters (NHQ) /Air Headquarters (AHQ) Selection Boards for any type of commission in the Armed Forces. (Candidates rejected twice by ISSB for under graduate courses are eligible for third chance if they have attained post graduate degree).

   b.Previously declared medically unfit by an Appeal Medical Board / Combined Medical Board for Army, Navy and PAF.

   c.Released or discharged or withdrawn from the Armed Forces or any of its training establishments on grounds of inefficiency or indiscipline.
   d. Convicted by Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.
6.    SELECTION PROCEDURE
a.    ONLINE Registration through Internet/at AS&RCs & AS&ROs with effect from 15 February to 26 February 2010. On spot Registration before commencing of respective tests will also be admissible at following Army Selection & Recruitment Centres:-

b.  Academic / Written Tests.

     Registered candidates will appear in preliminary Medical /Intelligenc
     and the written tests at Recruitment Centre as per the following schedule :-

10-12 March 2010
(2) ENGRS
(3) SIGS
(4) Ord    13 - 15 Mar 2010
(5) ICTO    16-17 March 2010
(6) ASC    18 March 2010
(7) RV&FC    19 March 2010
(8) Psychologist    20-22 March 2010

   c. ISSB. Candidates qualified in preliminary selection shall under go ISSB tests. Separate calls letters shall be issued to the candidates for the purpose.

   d. Detail Medical Examination. Candidates declared successful by the ISSB shall be put through medical examination at Military Hospitals closer to the home stations.

   e. Final Selection Merit list of all successful candidates who are declared medically fit shall be put through merit. Final selection shall be made by the GHQ on the basis of over all performance of candidates.


7. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT AS & RC
All candidates will deposit the following documents with Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS &RCs) after registration:-

(1.) Three attested copies of passport size photographs.
(2.) 2 x attested photocopies of each educational certificates / diploma / degree along with the original.
(3.) 2 x photocopies of National Identity Card issued by NADRA.
(4.) Candidates serving in Government institutions/departments will render no Objection certificate from the concerned establishment along with the documents listed above.

8. PRIVATE COACHING TRAINING CENTRE FOR ISSB TESTS
According to existing rules Armed Forces, Pre ISSB training cannot be imparted by any individual or private coaching centre. GHQ PA Directorate denies any link with such illegal & unethical training establishments throughout the country. Any candidate found trained /coached in any private coaching centre, will be not recommended.
      
9. BONDS.
Selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum period of 7 years. The applicability of bond will commence on successful completion of basic military training.
      
10. GRANT OF COMMISSION.
On successful completion of Basic Military Training (BMT) at PMA Kakul . Candidates will be granted commission in the Army in temporary rank of Captain. Ante-date seniority can be considered under the existing rules.
      
11. PREVIOUS TESTS.
Unsuccessful candidates of previous selection schedules can also apply subject to fulfilling eligibility conditions listed above.
