Seminar organized by the University of Karachis Business School on managing brands in challenging times

A seminar onManaging brands in challenging times was organized by the University of Karachis Business School (KUBS) on Saturday. The seminar, which is a continuation of the efforts to impart knowledge and bridge the gap between the academicians and corporate sector, discussed the critical challenges confronting the companies and their brands in the current economic downturn.

The biggest challenge is that how proactively they can manage their brands as long term assets through this downturn and beyond, the seminar was told.

In his speech, Dr. Zaki pointed out that in current economic scenario, leading brands were facing shrinkage in sales. In this scenario, they were going for alternate branding activity such as advertisement on transport, etc. Due to non-availability of personal finance and other financing options leading brands were facing a decline, he added.
