Private Medical Colleges Violating PMDC Rules
Lahore : September 09: THE Young Doctors Association (YDA), Pakistan, has pointed out that private medical colleges are giving ads in newspapers for admissions prior to completion of process of admissions in government medical/dental institutions in violation of regulations of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
In a press statement issued on Sunday, YDA General Secretary Dr Salman Kazmi said that, according to PMDC regulations, none of the private medical colleges was allowed to give an advertisement for admissions to MBBS/BDS or start an underhand booking for admissions prior to completion of process of admissions in government sector medical colleges or before October 31. He said all ads appearing in newspapers in this connection were illegal and PMDC and government should take notice of it and stop these ads.The news.
