Lecture at Lahore College for Women University
Lahore : September 12 : BENAZIR Bhutto Chair at Lahore College for Women University, (LCWU) Lahore will hold its 1st activity when Prof Salima Hashmi, ex-Principal of National College of Arts, would deliver a special lecture on the topic “In the Line of Fire” Conflict and Resolution through Art and Creativity.
According to a Press release issued here Wednesday, Benazir Bhutto Chair was set up at LCWU with the mission of peace, reconciliation and development. Moneeza Hashmi has been awarded inaugural responsibility to head the chair at the largest university for women in Asia. She has been tasked with strengthening and facilitating the university’s links with national and international organisations. She also works closely with Mass Communications Department to develop curriculum and research opportunities.The news.
