NAB to Crack Down on Fake Colleges Soon
Karachi:August 08: Sindh National Accountability Bureau Director General Wajid Ali Khan Durrani has taken notice of illegal registration and functioning of fake medical and dental colleges that have been extorting millions of rupees from students every year.
A surprise-visit team, headed by Awareness & Prevention Director Hafeez Siddiqui and comprising senior NAB and Pakistan Medical & Dental Council officials has been constituted.
Senior professors of the Dow Medical College and the Karachi Medical & Dental College supported NAB’s action plan and assured maximum cooperation during meetings held at NAB headquarters in Karachi on Monday and Tuesday.
The surprise-visit team has started its operation discreetly and will initiate a crack down shortly. The officials involved in misusing their authority and the beneficiaries of illegal gains will be strictly dealt with under the provisions of the NAB Ordinance-1999.The news.
