Punjab University to conduct its own entry test for admissions
LAHORE (PPI): Punjab University will conduct its own entry test for admission in all disciplines. The decision was taken in a meeting of PU Admission Committee held under the chairmanship of Chairman Prof. Dr. Ch. Jamil Anwar. Faculty of Pharmacy Dean/ Principal Prof. Dr. Bashir Ahmad, Faculty of Life Sciences Dean Prof Dr. Shahida Hasnain, Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Dr. Nayyar Raza Zaidi, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences Dean Prof Dr. Zafar Iqbal Jadoon, Faculty of Oriental Learning Dean Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar, College of Earth and Environmental Sciences Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Hussain Baloch, Punjab University College of Information Technology Principal Prof. Syed Mansoor Sarwar, Hailey College of Banking and Finance Principal, External Linkages Director Prof Dr Najma Najam, Institute of Education and Research Director Prof. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and representatives of Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences and Controller of Examinations attended the meeting. The meeting took strict action against advertisement of entry test published in various national newspapers by an organization about admissions in universities and cleared that PU had not asked any organization to conduct entry test for admission in Punjab University. It was also decided that the university will conduct its own entry test for admission in all disciplines for which schedule will be issued later.
