POST QUALIFICATION
1. Professor
M.B.B.S. or equivalent medical qualification recognized by P.M.
D.C. D.Sc., Ph.D., F.C.P.S., M.S., M.Phil (Pak) (in respective ba
subjects).F.C.P.S., M.D., M.S., (in related clinical subjects). Thre
(3) years teaching experience, as an Associate Professor in the
respective as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor shall
not be less than 8 years or nine years teaching and research
experience as an Assistant Professor in the respective subject.
At least two research papers in three years & sice to be published in
standard medical journals before promotion as Professor.
No diploma holder shall be eligible for appointment as Professor.
2. Associate Professor
D.C. D.Sc., Ph.D., F.C.P.S., M.S., M.Phil (Pak) (inrelated clinicalgds teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the relevan ject. At-least five research . e,re
M.B.,B.S or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered
by the P.M & respective basic subjects), F.C.P.S., M.D., M.S., (
subjects) or equivalent postgraduate medical qualifications
recognized / registered by the P.M.&D.C. Five (5) year’s teachin
experience as an Assistant Professor in the relevant subject.
At least three research papers in five years be published in the
standard medical journals as approved by the
P.M.&D.C./F.C.P.S/M.D./M.S in relevant clinical subject may be
eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor in Basic subjects as
last priority in exigency.
Or
M.B.,B.S or equivalent medical qualification recognized / registere
by the P.M&D.C. Postgraduate Diploma in respective subject
recognized by the P.M&D.C. Seven year

For the appointment of Associate Professor in the respectiv
subjects, the holder of diploma shall be considered only when
persons with higher post graduate qualifications like D.Sc., Ph.D
M.Phil with required experiences indicated in these regulations a

3. Assistant Professor/ Senior Registrartedrity ect

registered by PM&DC., D.Sc., Ph.D., F.C.P.S., M.S., M.D., M.Phil.
(Pak) (in respective basic subjects), F.C.P.S., M.D., M.S., (rela
clinical subjects) or equivalent qualifications recognized/registered
by P.M & D.C. Teaching experience in the relevant subject shall be
preferred. Credit shall be given to original published research work
in the standard medical journal as approved by PM&DC.
FCPS/M.D/M.S in related clinical subjects may be eligible for
appointment as an Assistant Professor in basic subject as last prio
in exigency.
Or
M.B.,B.S. or equivalent Medical Qualifications recognized /
registered by PM&DC. Postgraduate diploma in respective subj
recognized by the PMDC. Three years teaching experience as
Lecturer before or after postgraduate qualification is essential
shall be given to original published research work in the standard
