Environmental clubs in 108 schools
Lahore: The Environment Protection Department (EPD) Punjab has registered 108 schools in seven districts of the province for establishment of Environmental Clubs there. According to a press statement issued on Friday, the selected districts include Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Bahawalpur. The major objectives of the project include provision of environmental education and awareness at school level, to bring forward an environmentally conscious future generation and to guide students to undertake small environmental projects/activities, etc.
