Four-day Book Fair in Quaid-e-Azam Library
Lahore : 01 October : A four-day book fair is all set to begin in Quaid-e-Azam Library located in Lawrence Garden from Thursday.
The book review and the book fair will commence from October 3 to 6, 2013 aimed at promoting reading culture of boos among the students and general public. In the exhibition, prominent book publishers, sellers and importers will establish their counts and stalls. The library is also intending to arrange a number of programs during the fair.
The opening ceremony of the fair will be conducted on October 3 at 11 am along with the discussion on “Importance and Problems for the Development of Libraries” at the Quaid-e-Azam Library’s auditorium. The second day of the fair, painting and speech competition between the children would be conducted while on the third day, the symposium entitled, ‘World Teacher Day (For Librarians)’ would be held at the same venue.
