Balochistan:12 May:Balochistan Minister for Education Tahir Mahmood Khan has said that very soon vacancies will be announced in the education department.
Talking to Online, the education minister said, “A summary of the vacant posts has been sent to Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo for approval.”

Regarding teachers’ protest, he said, “Efforts are under way on behalf of the government to accept the genuine demands of the teachers and give them a practical shape.”

Unnecessary transfers and postings had been stopped so that the pillars of education could be strengthened, Mahmood Khan added.

“Today, people from different occupations have pinned their hopes on the government for resolution of their problems,” said the education minister. “We will utilise all resources at our disposal to meet their expectations.”

He said that the government was taking all necessary steps in order to improve the education department. “We are trying to implement the genuine demands of the teachers, which include 50% quota and promotions, because they are the ones responsible for giving our young generation a better future. This is their utmost priority.”

The education minister said that efforts were under way for hiring teachers on seniority basis and merit; and in transfers and postings also they were trying to accord importance to senior officers so that they could perform their duties in a better way.

Balochistan education dept gears up to tackle joblessness

To a question, the education minister replied, “A summary of 8,000 vacancies has been prepared and sent to the chief minister for approval.”

The job announcement will be made as soon as the CM returns from the foreign tour and approves the summary.

“We will hire 3,000 teachers on contract basis in Grade 17 and 5,400 on permanent basis after the approval,” he added.Express news.
