Boys Outsmart Girls in Position Race
Rawalpindi : September 24: The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) here on Monday announced the result of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Annual Examination 2013 with a pass percentage of 54.98%.
As many as 59,314 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 32,475 were declared successful. Out of the total students who appeared in the examination, 24,948 were male and 34,366 were female candidates.
The pass percentage of male students remained 47.16%, while in females the pass percentage was 60.64%. In the HSSC examination, out of overall three top positions, two male students of the Punjab College of Information Technology, Rawalpindi, got first and third positions with 1015 and 1011 marks in the Pre-Engineering Group, while a female student of the Punjab College of Information Technology, Rawalpindi, got second position with 1012 marks in the Pre-Engineering Group.
Sheikh Hassan Tanveer, son of Sheikh Tanveer Ahmed, Roll Number 725455, got first position with 1015 marks. Iqra Noor, daughter of Noor Muhammad, Roll Number 723626, secured second position with 1012 marks. Ahmed Shaheer, son of Shakeel Ahmed, Roll Number 725454, bagged third position with 1011 marks.
In Humanities Group among girls, Syeda Rida Zainab, daughter of Syed Nasim Taqi Jafery, Roll Number 715117, a student of Government College for Women, Gujar Khan, got first position with 935 marks. Nimra Waheed, daughter of Abdul Waheed, Roll Number 739826, student of Village PO Thanil Kamal, District Chakwal, stood second with 920 marks. Javeria Irfan, daughter of Qazi Irfan Hussain, Roll Number 730373, student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mari Danishmandan, got third position with 916 marks.
Khuzaima Jabaroot Bin Suleman, son of Shahzada Suleman, Roll Number 721020, student of Government Gordon College, Rawalpindi, got first position with 897 marks in the Humanitites Group among boys.
Sumaiya Sarfaraz, daughter of Hafiz Sarfaraz Ahmed, Roll Number 723745, student of Punjab College of Information Technology for Girls, bagged first position with 991 marks in Science General Group among girls.
Arslan Arshad, son of Arshad Mehmood Nasir, Roll Number 712722, student of Military College, Jhelum, got first position with 985 marks in Science General Group among boys.
In Commerce Group among girls, Sidra Murad, daughter of Waheed Murad, Roll Number 729738, student of Jinnah Institute of Informatics for Girls, Rawalpindi, stood first with 992 marks.
Rida Batool, daughter of Sajid Hussain, Roll Number 706017, student of Kallar Kahar Science College for Girls, Kallar Kahar, Chakwal, got first position with 1009 marks in the Pre-Medical Group among girls. Moazama Khan, daughter of Khalid Ahmed Khan, Roll Number 723102, student of Punjab College of Information Technology for Girls, Rawalpindi, obtained second position the Pre-Medical Group among girls with 1007 marks. Amina Bibi, daughter of Muhammad Munir, Roll Number 706021, student of the Kallar Kahar Science College for Girls, Kallar Kahar, Chakwal, got third position with 1001 marks.

 

The candidates can check their result on the RBISE’s website www.biserwp.edu.pk.The total enrolled students for the HSSC examination were 60,682, while 59,314 candidates appeared in the examination. Out of the total male and female students, 908 got A-1 grade, 2,733 got A grade, 7,121 students were declared successful in B grade while 12,606 students were awarded C grade.
