KMC to Provide Land for first Law University in Pakistan
Karachi : 15 August : Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) will provide land for establishing the first Law University in Pakistan -Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law - while Education Department will finalise PC-I with in a week. It was decided in a meeting chaired by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan here on Wednesday, said a statement. The meeting decided to arrange a suitable place in Karachi to make the university operational, in the initial stages. Ibad said in the address that the project was an honour, and directed the VC to cooperate with former jurists, and people associated with the profession of law. He was briefed the efforts being made for affiliation with international institutions. He was informed that five students, currently studying advanced law abroad via HEC, would be appointed in the newly established institute upon their return.The news.
