Modern Education can Bring Change in Country

Lahore: 25 September : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said a major portion of Pakistan’s population comprises youth and the destiny of the country could be changed by imparting them modern education.

In a statement, he said the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had taken a historic step by announcing a package of billion of rupees for the empowerment of youth which will promote a spirit among them to move forward and play an active role in development of the country.

He said the Punjab government was implementing a comprehensive programme for empowerment of the youth.

Sharif said promotion of education especially technical education was of utmost importance for rapid development, elimination of poverty, creation of new jobs opportunities and stability of national economy and Punjab government had adopted the right policy in this regard.
He said the Punjab government has taken revolutionary and unprecedented measures for promoting education in the province and Daanish Schools had been established for providing quality education to the poor and deprived children of the society.
He said the dream of low-income families to acquire education had been materialised through setting up educational endowment fund.
He said the PML-N was fulfilling the promises made in its manifesto regarding public welfare and solution of people’s problems. pr.
