PU Employees Rally Against Church Attack
Lahore: 25 September : A large number of Christian employees of Punjab University, students and faculty members of Punjab University College of Art and Design (PUCAD) on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration and took out a rally against Peshawar blasts from Faisal Auditorium to New Campus Bridge. Vice Chairman UGA International and Senior Pastor Danial Rafique Khokhar, Prof William, Supervisor and leader of PU Christian community Chaudhry Mushtaq Masih, Deputy Controller Khurram Inayat, PU ASA Secretary and RO-I Javed Sami, Additional Registrar-II & RO-II Malik Mohammad Zaheer and a large number of Christian employees participated in the rally. The participants showed solidarity by standing together in a disciplined manner in front of the main gate wearing black arm bands. The rallies condemned the inhuman incident and expressed solidarity with the victims of the blasts. Mushtaq Masih said the Christians were peace loving people and Pakistan was our own country like as the other citizens. He appealed to the government to take action against terrorist activities at religious places including churches, mosques and temples and punish the culprits involved.Daily Times.
