ISO Stages Demo Against America
Lahore : 30 September : HUNDREDS of Imamia Student Organisation (ISO) activists took out a procession on Sunday against the imperialist powers for destroying the peace of the whole world.
The procession started from Nasser Bagh and culminated at Faisal Chowk in front of the Punjab Assembly. The participants were holding banners and placards inscribed with anti-America slogans.
The rally participants said hundreds of thousands of Muslims had been martyred in many countries, including Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Somalia, by imperial powers on one pretext or the other for completing their nefarious designs.
ISO office-bearers, including its newly-elected President Athar Imran, said that imperial powers did not like struggle of Muslims through peaceful means and they were being targeted in many countries such as Egypt where the men of their choice had been rejected by the local people.
Objecting to peace process initiated by the Nawaz-led government, Athar Imran said that they rejected such step of the government as government wanted to deal with those who had killed thousands of innocent civilians of the country.
The Imamia Student Organisation office-bearers also condemned the recent blasts in Peshawar.
