To provide best health care to all patients in concordance with modern research this is achieved by:
Equipping the ward with modern instruments.
Maintaining standards of sterilization.
Providing free medical services to all patients admitted in our unit.
Providing comfortable enviornment in ward for patients and make then feel at home.
Interdepartment communication for patients evaluation.
Discussion of problematic cases in group meetings with seniors.
Teaching of medical students by assistant Professor in the form of indoor and outdoor classes and monthly assessment.
To teach and train post-graduate students and house officers in the form of word rounds, weekly short and long case presentations, mortality meeting > E.C.G and X-ray classes and monthly lectures and professors class.
To conduct research in different medical topics.

Role In SIMS:
Diabetic management centre is being run by medical Unit-III under supervision of Professor Dr. Faisal Masud.
At present 18 post-graduate residents are being trained in the ward.
Almost 30-40 house officers are trained in every 6 months rotation.
One batch of 3rd year students is taught and trained each month according to schedule providing by SIMS (4th year and final year classes will also come in ward soon).
we are providing upper and lower GI endoscopic facilities.
