TIMERGARA Islami Jamiat Talaba stages protest rally in Dir
TIMERGARA: Activists of the Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) Thursday staged a protest demonstration against the firing incident inside Government Degree College that left the IJT nazim Hussain Ahmad critically injured. The sources said the protesters were chanting slogans against the district administration, college officials and the People’s Students Federation (PSF). Later, addressing a press conference, the office-bearers of the IJT accused PSF members of shooting and injuring Hussain Ahmad. They also accused the college administration and the area police for supporting the students of PSF. They said instead of arresting those involved in the incident, the police held activists of the IJT.
