Mission
Safeguard Civil Aviation Industryagainst unlawful interferences adopting counter terrorism measures, preventingcrime and maintaining law & order within the limits of Airports in Pakistan.
Main Functions
Inaccordance with the provisions of the ASF Act 1975, the Force is responsible for : a. Ensuring security of all airports, aerodromes and civil aviationinstallations within the limits of airports and aerodromes and for safeguardingCivil Aviation against acts of unlawful interference or threats ofinterference.
b. Ensuring security of allstructures, equipment, material and installations belonging to operators andother Government or non Government organizations within the limits of airportsand aerodromes.
c. Ensuring security ofaircrafts, passengers, baggage cargo and mail within the limits of airports andaerodromes.
d. General maintenance of lawand order within the limits of airports in conjunction with the Police andtaking cognizance of all offences committed at the airports and aerodromesunder any law for the time being in force.
