Islami Jamiat Talaba Punjab University organized "Seerat ul Nabi" conference
LAHORE (PPI): Islami Jamiat Talaba Punjab University organized "Seerat ul Nabi" conference in main corodoors of New Campus Punjab University. Renowned religious scholar Dr. Aslam Siddiqui, former MNA Hafiz Salman Butt and Nazim Islami Jamiat Talaba Punjab University Qaisar Sharief addressed the students on the occasion. A large number of female and male students were also present. The students who took first, second and third positions in "Seerat Quiz" held on 24th of this month were given cash prices of Rs. 10,000/, Rs.5000/, and Rs.3000/- respectively. Addressing the students Dr. Aslam Siddiqui said that the seerat of Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the practical shape of the Holy Quran. After centuries Quran is the only Holy book, which is saved from amendments and the reason is that Allah Almighty has taken the responsibility of it. He said that foreign nations have tried to keep Muslim nation away from Quran by changing it's education system. Now a days the dignity and honour of women has been snatched away by west on the name of women's emancipation. He also criticized the university administration and said that it is shamefull for university to stop such a positive activity. Former MNA Hafiz Salman Butt while addressing the conference said that seerat of Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the only way by adopting which we can over come the economic and social problems of the world. He said that west has made women advertising commodity; whereas Islam gives honour and respect to women in the name of sister, mother and wife. He said that Islami Jamiat Talaba is the name of an ideology and the members of IJT will stop all those activities which are against the ideology of Islam and Pakistan.
