The students participated in the protest rally in large numbers that started from Khar Bazaar and reached the college. The protesters blocked the main Khar-Timergara Road for an hour. Several student leaders addressed the rally and accused the government and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor of not providing teaching staff and basic facilities to the college.
They said that most of the posts were vacant for the past several years due to which the precious time of the students was being wasted. The students said majority of the students came from far-flung areas but unfortunately most of the teachers didn’t take classes. They urged the governor and local administration to take notice of the issue and threatened to launch protest if the vacant posts were not filled before October 8.The news.
