Disadvantaged Students Awarded Scholarships
Peshawar : September 26: Three hundred economically disadvantaged girls from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Fata have received scholarships to study English.
The English Access Microscholarship Programme is a two-year, after-school English language programme being imparted by the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) in Peshawar, a press release said. The students will join the two hundred and thirty-five others, who have previously completed studies via the Access Programme.
The Access Programme began operating in Pakistan in 2005. Ever since, more than 12,000 Pakistani 14 to 18 years old students from disadvantaged backgrounds have benefitted from the programme. Worldwide, over 95,000 students in more than 85 countries have participated in the Access Programme, the press release said.The news.
