University of Peshawar Monday declared results of BA/BSc supplementary examinations.

PESHAWAR: The University of Peshawar (UoP) Monday declared results of BA/BSc supplementary examinations.

According to the UoPs Controller of Examination, Iftikhar Hussain, a total of 22,472 students appeared in the examination of which 9,480 qualified, giving a pass percentage of 42.18. Addressing a news conference on the premises of the university, Iftikhar said 56 centers had been established for the exams and dutiful invigilating staff deputed for the job. He said the university examination section conducted 138 examinations each year.

The controller said about 70,000 students are expected to appear in the next annual BA/BSc examination at 200 examination centers in various parts of the province. Iftikhar demanded of the high-ups of the law-enforcement agencies to extend maximum cooperation to the examination section of the university to ensure peaceful and fair exams.

A total of 9480 out of 23737 students declared successful in BA, BBSc, BSc in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A total of 9480 out of 23737 students were declared successful in BA, BBSc, BSc nursing and theology (supplementary ) examinations, a press release issued here on Monday said. According to the result, the passing percentage remained 24.18. Meanwhile, Iftikhar Hussain, Controller Examination of University of Peshawar , said more than 70,000 candidates expected to appear in the BA and BSc examinations, adding all preparation have been made for the examinations.
