Two PPP activists, headmaster among nine killed
Karachi:August 24: Two Pakistan Peoples’ Party activists, the headmaster of a school, and two alleged Taliban militants were among nine people gunned down in the city, police said on Friday.
The two PPP activists, the party’s president in UC-11 Orangi Town, 48-year-old Muhammad Naseem, and 28-year-old Farman Aftab, were having tea at Essa Hotel in Orangi Town Sector 9-E when two men riding a motorcycle fired gunshots at them.
The two men expired at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Orangi Town SHO Ghulam Nabi Afridi said apart from being PPP activists, the two men were also cloth merchants.
He added that both men had suffered multiple bullets wounds.

 

Following the dual murder, the families of the victims and PPP activists rushed to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where moving scenes were witnessed.

 

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon condemned the killing of the party men and directed police to immediately arrest their killers.The news.
