Punjab Teachers to Stage Protests from October
Lahore : September 27: The Punjab Teachers Alliance (PTA), strongly criticising the proposed District Authorities for Education, has announced to launch a protest movement against the same starting with a sit-in and a rally from October 3.
Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Thursday, the PTA leaders, including Allah Bakhsh Qaiser, Rana Atta Muhammad and others, termed the establishment of District Education Authority a conspiracy against the province’s education system with an alleged aim to increase the interference of elected representatives and bureaucrats.
