ADMISSION NOTICE FOR MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS, ENTRY 2008 Applications are invited on prescribed forms for Admission to Master Degree Programs. For all programs, classes will be held in the morning, four days a week, including Sundays.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA• Only those candidates can apply who have passed their Undergraduate Degree in relevant discipline by securing at least 60% marks or CGPA of 3 from a recognized university/institution.
• For admission to all programs except those for Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities & Islamic Studies, candidate has to pass GAT/GRE general test by NTS/ETS with a minimum score of 50.
• For programs offered by Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities & Islamic Studies, the candidate has to pass B.Sc./B.A.Sc. by securing a minimum of 60% marks both in degree and relevant subject.
The details of relevant undergraduate disciplines and other eligibility criteria applicable to individual programs/courses are available in Prospectus or can be viewed on the University Website :
www.uet.edu.pk. The applicants shall be required to appear in Interview (All Programs) and test (Programs offered by Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities & Islamic Studies) at respective departments as given in Prospectus.
Those candidates who have not yet passed NTS GAT (General) are required to take NTS GAT (General) on 12-10-2008. Such candidates may be considered for provisional admission, subject to the condition that their admission will be cancelled if they do not qualify NTS.
AVAILABILITY OF PROSPECTUSThe Prospectus and prescribed Admission forms will be available from Admission Office on payment of Rs. 300/-
from 25-08-2008 onward. The Prospectus and forms can also be downloaded from the University website :
www.uet.edu.pk. A processing fee of Rs. 300/- should be submitted along-with downloaded forms.
LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONSApplication on the prescribed forms available in the Postgraduate Prospectus along-with all supporting documents must be submitted to the office of relevant department by 30-08-2008 up to 02:00 P.M. Applications received after the due date shall not be accepted. Incomplete applications shall be rejected. The candidates waiting for their result may also apply, however they will be required to submit the result before the finalization of the Admission by the University.
