Punjab University awarded PhDs

Lahore: The Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to three students. Abdul Zahoor s/o Ghulam Nabi has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of History after the completion of his thesis entitled "Disintegration of USSR and Role of USA 1985-1995, and its Effects on South Asia". He completed his thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Prof Dr Syed Raza-ul-Haq Shah.

Muhammad Zia-ul-Mustafa alias Muhammad Akbar s/o Muhammad Ismail has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Arabic after the completion of his thesis entitled "Critical and Analytical Study and Editing of the Manuscript Jawame-ul-Kalim Fil Mawaiz Wal Hikam".

Shaukat Ali Shaukat s/o Mehnga has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Zoology after the completion of his thesis entitled "Localization of Hormone Producing Cells by Immunocytochemistry in the Adenohypophysis of Camel at Different Physiological States".

He completed his thesis under the supervision of Balochistan University of Information Technology & Management Sciences, Quetta Faculty of Biotechnology & Informatics Chairman Prof DR Abdul Majeed Cheema while University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Department of Physiology and Pharmacology Dr Zia-ur-Rehman was Co-Supervisor.
