PTI changing Education System Through Jew-Funded NGOs
Dera Ismail Khan :August 13: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman has accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government of handing over the formulation of new education policy to certain foreign-funded non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
Addressing party workers in the Shorkot area in Dera Ismail Khan on Monday, he said the NGOs funded by Jews had been assigned the job of corrupting the mind of the youth with so-called changes in government-run schools syllabus.
He said in the name of equipping the new generation with modern education, the misguided leaders in the provincial government were working on deviating the youth from the ways of their elders and Islamic identity.
The JUI-F chief said the JUI-F would disclose to masses the double standards of certain politicians and their “hypocrite” credentials. He said the JUI-F would frustrate the designs of certain NGOs who had been assigned by the PTI to remove chapters related to Islamic history and Islamic studies from the curriculum taught to children in schools.
We had thwarted the attempts of former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf to replace curriculum with anti-Islam syllabus. And now we will again prevent such devious planning of the incumbent government in the province,” the Maulana said.
He argued his party had made it clear to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that a government in KP on collision path with the central government would be disastrous for the province, adding now it was up to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to decide the next course of action.
The Maulana said that the rise of the nationalists in Balochistan was not a good omen for the nation and ignoring the concerns of the JUI-F in the province was not in the interest of the country.
“We don’t wish the rule of JUI-F in Balochistan but we do wish to save the state there and we urge the federal government to work on the policy of saving the nation,” he argued.
He said the JUI-F decided to join the PML-N government at the federal level because a commitment had been made to the party that their concerns would be addressed by the PML-N government. The JUI-F chief said the foremost commitment secured from the government was to legislate as per recommendations of the Islamic Ideology Council. The news.
