PCB should stop wasting money on India series issue: Zaka Ashraf
Lahore, Friday 02 February 2018: Zaka Ashraf, the ex-chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that Pakistan’s legal campaign against India to play series is of no use and Pakistan should stop its efforts to play series with archrivals. He said that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between both countries doesn’t have a legal value and PCB should stop wasting money over this issue. Zaka further said that India and Pakistan signed MoU in 2014 and it won’t be proved beneficial for Pakistan. He was of the opinion that when he was chairman PCB he was the one to oppose Big Three formula being circulated and he wrote to ICC that it would only be beneficial for England, Australia and Indian cricket boards and three countries supported his stance at start but later on backed off.
