Educators' recruitment resumes
Lahore, Jan 01: Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has approved the resumption of recruitment of educators in the province.
According to a DGPR handout, Secretary School Education Department Nadeem Ashraf has directed all the EDOs (Education) to ensure the recruitment of educators on merit and in a transparent manner. He directed them to complete recruitment process at the earliest so that recruited teaching staff might be posted in schools which were facing staff shortage.
In addition to that, the chief minister has constituted special committees at divisional level to supervise the recruitment of educators at district level to ensure merit as per the recruitment policy, 2008-09.
The Rawalpindi division committee comprises Rawalpindi commissioner, MPA Raja Shaukat Aziz Bhatti, MPA Col (Retd) Shuja Khanzada and MPA Shahaan Malik. Sargodha division committee members are Sargodha commissioner, MPA Ch Abdul Razaq Dhilon, MPA Muhammad Asif Malik and MPA Rana Munawar Hussain. The members of committee for Faisalabad division are Faisalabad commissioner, MPA Major (Retd) Abdur Rehman Rana, MPA Iftikhar Ahmad, MPA Nazia Raheel. Gujranwala division committee comprises Gujranwala commissioner, MPA Shazia Ashfaq Mattu, MPA Haji Nasir Mehmood and MPA Major (Retd) Zulfiqar Ali Gondal.
Lahore division committee comprises Lahore commissioner, MPA Khawaja Salman Rafique, MPA Pir Muhammad Ashraf, MPA Sardar Muhammad Hussain. The members of Sahiwal division committee are Sahiwal commissioner, MPA Mian Yawar Zaman, MPA Shahzad Saeed Cheema and MPA Dr Farrukh Javed. Multan division committee comprises Multan commissioner, MPA Muhammad Naeem Akhtar Bhaba, MPA Mian Shafiq Arain and MPA Shahid Mehmood Khan. DG Khan division committee members are DG Khan commissioner, MPA Sardar Mir Badshah Kaisrani, MPA Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani and MPA Malik Bilal Ahmad. The members of Bahawalpur division committee are Bahawalpur commissioner, MPA Haji Zulfiqar Ali, MPA Asif Manzoor Mohal and MPA Col (Retd) Naveed Iqbal Sajid.
