Punjab rejects decision to extend summer vacation
The Punjab School Education Department has rejected the decision to extend summer vacations in all districts
School Education Department Punjab has rejected the decision to extend the holidays by another 2 weeks and has refused to give more holidays to the children.
The School Education Department, Punjab has directed the school heads to open government educational institutions from August 1 and requested the parents to send their children to school from August 1 so that their syllabus can be completed on time.
According to the Education Department, next year the new academic session in the province will be started from April 1, 2023
Earlier, the education department of Punjab had announced summer vacation from June 1 to July 31 in the schools of the province.
The education department said that the schools will open from August 1 after the summer vacation and the new academic year will also start from August 1, 2022.

اسکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ پنجاب نے اسکول سربراہان کو یکم اگست سے سرکاری تعلیمی ادارے کھولنے کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے والدین سے گزارش کی ہے کہ وہ یکم اگست سے بچوں کو اسکول بھیجیں تاکہ انکا سلیبس وقت پر مکمل کرایا جاسکے
محکمہ تعلیم کے مطابق آئندہ برس صوبہ میں نیا اکیڈمک سیشن یکم اپریل 2023 سے شروع کیا جائیگا
قبل ازیں محکمہ تعلیم پنجاب کی جانب سے صوبہ کے اسکولوں میں یکم جون سے 31 جولائی تک موسم گرما کی چھٹیوں کا اعلان کیا گیا تھا،
محکمہ تعلیم کا کہنا تھا کہ موسم گرما کی تعطیلات کے بعد یکم اگست سے اسکول کھلیں گے اور نئے تعلیمی سال کا آغاز بھی یکم اگست 2022 سے ہی ہوگا
